Travelling thoughts

as I sit here late at night I wonder what of the days past and what of the days to come. Perhaps there will be a choice on the horizon, do you see it? I can. I knew it was going to come but I didn't prepare mself for the wave of emotions that would entangle my heart. It will consume my mind untill all that I know has been reverted to basic motor skills. Is that even possible? who knows and who really cares, I mean really? Time has gone so quickly lost forever never to return, except in the wondering brain. Time does as we wish it to as long as we don't release it, it will remain untill our bones have long turned to dust and the energy that was once a human being is now a comet or an asteroid hurling itself towards the doomed planet!... Is it possible for all that too flow out of a persons mind? It must be I just saw it happen before my own two eyes which I value very much thank you.

1. The young man was standing with his back to me. I could smell his high end cologne and I must admit, it was nice. He brushed my arm as he went to the register. As he went by his coat was drawn slightly back and I could see that he was no ordinary fellow. A shape resembling a row of slender sausages with funny little wires connecting them all.... BOOM! And now I am nothing but a memory...but whose? 2. as I sit here late at night I wonder what of the days past and what of the days to come. P… Continue

disturbed with the way things are

klinking in the distance has woken me. what could that sound be. walking closer and closer the sound grows like an expanding city... that's it. IT's gone, my fields my streams, my wetlands, my forests, my animals? Where have they all gone??? it is so hard to breathe now. choking on nothing it would seem, is it my shame? Why do I feel bad? I am one of these terrible things, ravenous appetite for destruction... progress. when will it stop? when we stop I guess, when we die. Sweet silence once agai… Continue

Hi Jeff,
Seeking a muse, aye?
Hey, if you're wanting to write a longer work, take hold of the muse that appears to you and never shuts up, the one that follows you round and whispers in your ear (or as is the case with some of mine) screams at you, until you begin to write his or her tale.

Also, there's nothing wrong with fleshing out scenes and creating short tales. Stop by my page and check out Lost and Found Muses to see what other authors say about what inspires them and keeps them writing. Maybe it'll help you. (o:

On my author blog I also ocassionally post writing tips if you're interested in that. Some I tag to here as well, but to check them all out, here's the URL:

I wish you all the best in your writing journey and many dark adventures when you read.
