Contracts?

Okay... I'm hopeing the all mighty contract fairy will fly over my e-mail addy soon. In preperation for that I'm doing my homework and I am turning to all of you published authors for advice. What should and should not be there? How long are your contracts? Payment Schedules? Thanks in advance for your input.

How do you thank the writers in your life?

My muse today brings me to the question I have for all of you. How often do you tell a writer, that you like their books? I've read my share of reviews and that isn't really what I mean when I ask this question. What I mean is; do you send a quick blurb on myspace or find the authors web-site and say, "Hey, loved your newest whatever?" Cathy,

I know it seems like a crazy long time until release. ;o) My publisher is very small and didn't give me a release date. Why?

She said "As soon as edits are finished, we go to print."

"Yea!"

Now, if I could just find the time to finish the edits. I'm hoping by the end of June. (That's because I'm still in the process of packing to move and don't forget, Target owns me. ;o)

I'm working on a chapter 2 blog--Concentric Circles: Joining. (hummm... wonder what that's about... *grin*)

At first touch the skin of his palm hummed with awesome joining.


Have a great rest of the day. Saturday, right? I lose track. Worked last night and again tonight.
