I'm over it now, but I still like to look back on it. I was out filming some rare birds in our park one early spring day when I decided to record this on the spur of the moment. I should have been in bed as I was recovering from a bad bout of 'flu -- man 'flu of course lol.

A truly horrific tale. As someone who spent nearly 10 years as an antiques/vintage goods dealer, I know the pain you endure. I have sold at yard sale or given away things many years ago I wish I had back now - C'est la vie.

I didn't think to ask my mother to save them, Sandy. I assumed she would know that I would require them at some time. Never take things for granted huh lol.

That is definitely a horror story.  I knew they would be worth a lot because I watch Antique Road Show.  I have one question to ask.  Did you ask your mom to save those cars and comic books?  She wouldn't have thrown them out if you had told you wanted them when you had a place for them.
