Many thanks for the link up, Ann. I’m looking at ways where we can help each other promote our material and ourselves. I suppose it begins with good communication. Did you have anything in mind in addition to this? I'm not that experienced in writing but I have a wealth of knowledge about people. This is the cover to my co-written book. You’d be welcome to post yours in my comments box or to the text facility on my page. All you have to do is ask :-)
Can't say I can answer all your questions but here goes. As for give-aways - I always try to get my contest gifts to in someway fit the book I'm running the contest for.
Judging sucess is a really personal measure. Some - its just getting published, or winning an award. Me having reader who really enjoy my writing is very fulfilling of course a good royalties check helps but isn't the measure of sucess.
Don't be discouraged by a rejection - they are helpful to improve what you are and have written - we all get them at one time or the other even after we've been published a number of times. What press is TWRP?
Just keep at it - proof read but do so at least once after you let the work sit for a day or two, it allows your eyes to (brain) look at the piece in a different "light"
Hope this helps
Many thanks! Good t be here. I got my first romance review for Rock Bound, today. Here it is:
Rock Bound is an all around great book. It has great strong characters and a good storyline.
If you enjoy Sci Fi this is a book for you. Annie and Jake [sic] fire starts slow and ends in a blaze.
Rochelle Weber spins an imaginative story. Her strength in her righting [sic] is truly amazing.
