Thank you, Hywela! I admit I'm a bit awww struck. I haven't been published so it's a bit intimidating. Plus, I get nervous wondering if I'm asking a stupid question. Hopefully, in time this will be old hat to me.

I was thrilled with the cover. I think dogs are a lot cuter than most people :-). A Jack Russell IS human. He's got even got a people name!

You said - this makes me ashamed to be human.
I couldn't agree with you more.
Until some people stop treating animals like lifeless objects - well, even if they do, there will always be those who will take out their sadistic perversions on the helpless.

Several years ago, I had a greyhound that had been retired from the track. She was not abused, just useless as a racedog because she did not have the necessary drive to win. Lucky for me, she was a simply awesome companion.

Oh, Lyn, I love the Bouncer congrats graphic! How adorable! And thank you so much, my friend. That award was a definite shock.

(You'll get the same on COTM, just as you have with SQ. I know it!)

I know, I have several shelves of "To Be Read" books and a long list of "I'd like to Read." So many books, so little time! LOL

Thanks, Hywela. I have reminded myself to post a reminder here of my visit to the Bronte parsonage later in March. And I hope you are having a good weekend, too.

Yes, I believe that horses are some of God's greatest work. How can you look on them and not smile? Sadly, some people don't have the same respect for our four-legged friends. I blogged this after seeing a picture on the internet. The Monsters Among Us

CAUTION!! Don't read this is you are sqeamish or have a weak stomach. I felt it was necessary that someone speak out for these poor animals. This happened in Connecticut no less.

Thanks so much for the warm welcome. I don't doubt that we're friends on my space. I have so many! Way more than I did in High School..LOL. I love your horses. I had a horse when I was 16. I often think about taking up riding again. It's just so.... natural and connecting.
