Thanks Patrice,

Glad you liked the cover, and yes, I've been very fortunate to pick up quite a few awards recently. I'm a lucky person indeed.

Best regards

Brian

I'll miss you at the Silver Spur, but it sounds like you have a busy schedule lined up. Sending you the very best wishes for your submissions. And, I agree--not to much in this industry comes easy!

Hi Patrice. How nice to hear from you. Rae Monet did a wonderful job designing the cover for Heart of Stone. And, yes I am working on sequel titled Cady's Chance. I took time out, though, to finish Tomorrow's Promise, and to submit a short story, Time for Romance. Now I HAVE to get that sequel done!

How about you? Oh, and hey, are you signing up for the Dude Ranch Writer's Retreat next May? I think its going to be great!

Hi Patrice:
To be honest, I just happened to stumble upon this site and I have been enjoying my discovery. I agree about living in South Florida - although it is raining and probably will be for the remainder of the month :D

That name comes of my escapism imagination. A gambling/bordello in outer space - what else could you call it? Well I could think of a few other names, but - it just seem to fit the story line. A place where only the richest can afford to go and "play" and where any kind of play if legal. Thanks for asking and a good question too.

Thanks for the input, Patrice. I actually switched to a laptop 3 years ago so I didn't have the share the family computer. I use it as a PC right at my desk, but am able to travel with it when needed. It may be considered big and bulky now with these new mini's available, but I just don't see having another appliance to carry around. It's almost shameful.

Hi Patrice, the title of the book is "City Within A City-A Gangster's Story, it is not only a very compelling crime story but it is an amazing love story as well and it has religeous under tones on a spiritual aspect. The movie will come out sometime in 2010 or later and it is in the infancy stages right now, the name of the movie will be different and some of the scenes will be changed and arranged differently. I will keep you posted on how it progresses throughout the months as I get more information myself on the process.

I have a lot of people involved so far, attorneys, contracts, agents and a lot of things to do before this comes alive. Right now all I have is a pending contract with a lot of stipulations to meet before you see it on the big screen. It all comes about when a screen agent wants to look at the script and presents it to independent film makers to see if they like it enough to make it a movie.

Hope that answers some of your questions if you have more I will be glad to answer them for you if you contact me direct at Sherry5442@aol.com

Thanks

Hi Patrice
I just got here so I'm sort of feeling my way around and discovering what I can do. My page looks a little bare right now, but I'll eventually figure it all out. As far as writing. I just finished a medieval time travel that I'm currently submitting. I also hope to get out of this writers' slump I'm in and start revisions on my romantic fantasy. I'm currently taking a college class on writing fantasy, horror and science fiction and working full time. I need some energy pills! :)

My first novel is a mystery, romance, suspense novel. I just stumbled into that particular genre when I began writing. It is funny because it started out as an historical novel with the setting in the 1940's during WWII. But it took on a modern day setting after editing and re-thinking what I wanted to write. The theme of the book is deceit and foregiveness.

Hi Patrice

Thanks for your comment on my Page - yes Lula's cover for 'Spider' is amazing isn't it! (Like the story itself) As you say, we have some wonderful cover artists in TWRP, I love all mine by Tamra. My sequel to Starquest is going to be releaed in June, which is exciting.

All the best,
Lyn

PS Did you find out how to do a link after? All you have to do is highlight the text you want linked, click on the little 'chain link' icon above the writing pane, and type in the url , Hope this helps.

Patrice, thank you for your comment on my blog. This is such an exciting business we're in. And, yes, I enjoyed this conference so much more than National. It seemed much easier to meet people and the editors seemed more relaxed. Loved it and would be willing to do it again!
