Long time, sir. I've been away and I've missed your humor. I have some pretty big deals brweing and I hope they come to the forefront. Now it's just a waiting game.
I hope life is treating you well and the writing continues to move for you. Have a wonderful day my friend.
I thought this was a cute joke wanted toshare it with ya

>> A tough old cowboy counseled his grandson that if he wanted to live a long life, the secret was to sprinkle a pinch of gun powder on his oatmeal every morning.
The grandson did this religiously to the age of 103. When he died, he left 14 children, 30 grand-children, 45 great grandchildren, 25 great-great grand children, and a 15 foot hole where the crematorium used to be.
Dolls, thanks to you Kathy, Marianne, & Debra for letting me know I have a great page! I always look upon a glass of water as halful. Life is too short to live in misery. The old saying, "Misery loves company," is very apt. Those people want you to be as miserable as they are now. I don't have time, as I am having too much fun enjoying life & it's adventures! Everyday is filled with more adventures! Bobby
I haven't stopped by for a while, holidays, day job, and my WIP have kept me from checking in with everyone. New Years resolution--network! Stop by blogs to say hi and leave comments for people. So far so good. We are currently up to 210 inches of snow! How is everyone else faring this winter? Only 59 days until spring. However for us spring usually arrives about the same time as out mid-March blizzard. Something to look forward to. Stay Warm!
I got your message about how your Paw always used that analogy. I responded, but then saw the do-not-respond email address. So let me know if you got it. If you didn't I'll repost it here for you.
Found any better ruptured ducks lately? That analogy is forever in my head!! Looking forward to Christmas. I'm going back to Massachusetts on January 10. I'll miss everyone here, but I can't wait to see my daughter and grandson again.
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas. Enjoy your family and I'll talk with you again soon.
I hear you about the cold. Live in SW Louisiana (about 50 miles from the coast). The weatherman claims it's going to snow. First time in years down here. Take care and stay warm!
How was your Thanksgiving? I found I was missing that rapier wit of yours and needed to get my fix! I'm in California still and my Thanksgiving was 80 degree wheather with no chance of snow. Never thought I'd miss the white stuff, but I do. Now, with Christmas around the corner, I don't know what an 80 degree, green Christmas is going to feel like. Being around great friends certainly helps though.
I hope you have a wonderful holiday season and a glorious New Year, my friend.
Where has this year gone? I guess when you’re busy time really does fly because mine has certainly taken wing.
WRDF launched in February of 2008 and its membership has grown steadily. I hope that means we are doing something right for our members.
We have some fabulously talented writers among us. I would encourage you to take a little time to visit a couple new pages each week. The photos, videos, blurbs, excerpts, bios, blogs, graphics, and I could go on and on, are super fun and so interesting. No one has an excuse to be bored on this site with so much to read and see.
I hope you’ve kept up with WRDF’S newest features, The Tipping Point Workshops, our contest announcement page, our bookmark giveaway page, and our free reads page. All are great promotional opportunities for writers and great fun for our readers.
Our book discussion club, LOST IN A GOOD BOOK, is going strong. We’ve had good participation and if you haven’t kept up with some of our adventurous discussion comments, you’ve missed the action.
We’ve also launched a new online newsletter, WRDF Online. Be sure to open and read your copy when it comes. You never know what you might be missing.
Lastly, you’ll notice a new WRDFCalendar Tab on your page. What a nice way to keep all our members notified of current and up-coming events. You’ll notice that Fridays are Guest blog days at Between the Lines. Why not take a moment, check the calendar, and reserve a couple of spots for yourself during 2009. You can request your dates at: btlblog@lyndacoker.com
Thank you for spending time with us. Stay safe and well,
Lynda
Bobby...Thanks for the invite. As you may have noticed from my list, Westerns are certainly among the books I enjoy. I'll have to check yours out....Nancy:)
Thank you for the beautiful Thanksgiving Blessing. Many people do have a lot to be thankful for and I've found, that looking on the glass as half-filled instead of half-empty made the difference. May the Lord continue to bless everyone you love, each life you touch - in so many ways - and may He return it to you tenfold. Happy Thanksgiving!
