It came to my attention that the link to my recent "bad" review wasn't working, so I went out to find it and copied it here. I thank those who have written to me to be supportive, to say reviews are subjective. Perhaps they are and no, I won't be waging any rebuttal to the website on my own. I accept what the reviewer says about this particular book and hope perhaps she just didn't understand it overall. Everyone has a style they like, a genre they appreciate, and sometimes a story doesn't take hold with a reader. I'll try to keep an open mind and really, I value honesty above sugar coated white lies to save face, my own face that is. :) I'll continue on doing what I do because I've found this craft to be a real passion, to release what is in my soul. So that's what I'll continue to do until this series is through, and then go on to the next project. In this crazy writing sea of aspiring talented authors and keen-eyed readers, I'm always glad to hear the support from among friends, especially the ones I've found on this website. God bless.

Tara has come back to the States to promote her musical family, hoping they will be just as successful here as in the UK. She, however, has to face the ghosts of the past when she runs into a love she has never forgotten. How could she when he was the father of her septuplets? But does she still love him? How will he react to the news he is the father of her children?

Jimmy left school as a teenager, and not of his own free will. When he returns to Tara he finds she has fled and he is left with a broken heart; a heart that will never forget her. And when he sees that she is in town, he does everything to get to see her. He needs this woman in his life.

Both having led such crazy lives and made many mistakes, Tara and Jimmy try their hand at a reunion but as always things stand in the way. Is this love going to get a second chance or did this ember burn out long ago?

I hate to say I was very disappointed in this book. The blurb sounded exciting but finding the characters with continuous jealousy and a heroine who feels a “connection” with other men besides the one she wants to be with is confusing to the reader. I would suggest to the reader to read the first book in this series. Although it was not to my liking, another reader might hail it as wonderful. It will be best to utilize your own judgment on this one.

The Publishers Weekly review for my Amazon novel entry was really dire. I just kept thinking "Well, at least they called me a writer..." It was the only positive. But I guess there's always something we can improve on, and always something to learn, even from negative reviews. So I'll keep writing, and maybe even keep trying to get that novel published. And it's always true that you can't please everyone.

I've just started writing the second book of a series. It's way different from just writing one story isn't it? A fun challenge though.
