I seem to be a rather infrequent visitor here lately. I apologise, between regularly writing for three blogs, including myown, preparing for a trip to the States, horses, home and a husband, and trying to finish my current WIP I don't seem to have a lot of time for much else.
I know many people here were friends with or had communicated with Sharon Donovan, author of such gripping stories as Charade Of Hearts (Which won the P & E category for 'short' stories this year, although it was actually a novella - thanks so much to all who voted for her) Mask of The Betrayer, and Inspirational stories including 'Lasting Rose' to name but a few. You probably also know that she had batttled diabetes most of her life and eighteen months ago had a major heart operation and came back still feisty, full of fun and writing . Sadly Sharon passed away on 11th April after several months in hospital following a second heart operation.
There is a tribute post on the post we ran together with Mary Ricksen and Patsy Parker -

and also on my own, http://www.hywelalyn.blogspot.com
if anyone would like to leave a comment on either blog you'd be most welcome.
I feel incredibly sad, and sorry I won't now get to meet this wonderful lady in person, but I know she would not want us to be sad for too long, and she lives on in our hearts and her books.
