After a recent discussion and the sharing of a few photographs with a friend regarding how our natural and local habitat can inspire us so much, I thought I'd ask the members here to post places that have given them the most inspiration, especially when it comes to writing.
Unless you are living in dense…

I'm fortunate to have an associate who is an amazing musician, a classical composer and arranger. I don't really have any regrets in my life, but when I look back at how I rebelled against my mother when she 'forced' me to take piano lessons, I could cringe. Psychology would have been the best method whereby my…

Recently I've had some nice encouragement from a WRDF member, Gary Val Tenuta, telling me that I should be exploiting more of the promotional material that I have for The Meadow novel. In particular he was talking about the video which is titled "The Story of The Meadow Book."
Normally, I make most of the videos myself and Elfreda, the co-writer to…

I’ve never missed a Formula One race in all the years that I care to remember. And that’s a lot, believe me. F1 is my passion. However, if someone asked me a specific question regarding a certain race on a particular date of any year I’d be hard pushed to answer. My problem is that I can’t hold the stats and I’d fail any sports quiz as a consequence.
Statistics do interest me, but for some reason my psyche won’t facilitate the retention of clutter. This leads me in nicely…

The above title is the heading to one of the chapters in "The Meadow" novel. There has been quite a few articles and blogs written about this story but none, so far, appear to have concentrated on the animal which accompanies our two protagonists throughout the centuries as they return to the earth plane to…

You either love or hate the subject concerning reincarnation. To others it's a taboo topic which should never be approached or suffer the consequences. The conventional idea behind reincarnation is that after dying we return to the Earth plane to live another life. However, when up-to-date theories are…

I’m pretty sure there are many like me who have a predisposition to hoard. The Aladdin’s Cave of any home is the attic or loft where all the unwanted stuff gets piled away and is forgotten — out of sight, out of mind. My attic is the home to many of my kids’ (now grown up) old toys and comics, lovingly preserved and…

"The Colour of Music" is a rather bizarre combination of words used as the title to an article which attempts to help us understand the workings of the Universe from our perspective as human beings. We consider 'hearing' and 'sight' as two of the five natural senses which, combined with the other three, feed…
