I've been missing from this site awhile and I apologize for my absence. So many things have transpired in my life to keep me busy. Mostly I felt so disillusioned from writing when my second book, "Falling for Her Heart", a sequel to my 1st book, received a terrible review. I had posted it here back in June. Since then, like a whooped pup with a tail tucked behind its legs, I turned coward to promote it further. Why try for further disheartment? Perhaps I truly sucked at this craft called… Continue

My baby came two weeks early. She measured eight and a half inches long and weighed fourteen and a half ounces. Completely caught off guard by her early arrival, I was nonetheless totally in love the moment I saw her face.

The package was book size but I hadn't ordered anything… Continue

I am feeling a bit numb, stunned even for finally getting a review of my recent book, Falling for Her Heart, and getting a "bad" one. I will even share the link with you:
It was so disheartening to read and even worse, made me feel as a failure. Then the questions raced in my head:
1) wasn't any of it good? 2) Why didn't they comment on facts about… Continue
I am the administrator of the Suspense/Thriller Writers group on Facebook. Our discussion this week was about negative reviews, and Marshall Karp left a comment that I wanted to pass along because I thought you’d find it as helpful as I did.
Since breaking the news yesterday about my battle with Amazon over reviews (ones I wrote on books I'd read) that they deleted (85 reviews) because I included author of Whale Song in my signature line, I've received emails and phone calls from concerned authors, many who tracked me down via the Internet after reading about me on Twitter, The Write Type or John Kremer's Marketing Tips email. Some authors have already discovered missing reviews; some have gone through the same hassle I… Continue

Well as you may know from my bio that I'm a full-time college student and I've just started the Spring 2009 semester of my Sophomore year last week. I'm already swamped with a lot of reading of very boring fiction literature and textbooks so I haven't been able to really update my blog with my reviews even though I'm still reading my books. So I'm trying to find some guest blog reviewers who can help me out for this month at least at my blog… Continue
