As an author your email signature is a fantastic place to distinguish yourself and stand-out from the crowd of emails that your recipients receive. Let's do the math about the size of this marketing opportunity ... if you send an average of 10 emails a day you've got over 300 opportunities a month to tell your email recipients (clients, coworkers, friends, family and vendors) about your book.

When I started writing some years ago, I dreamed of seeing my name on a book that a publisher had seen fit to accept and release. After several years of writing and publishing editorials in a regional newspaper, I moved on to articles here and there online. Meanwhile, working on a book. The first one I shopped around at writers conferences and had a proposal requested from editors. Then, finally, I got a hit! Actually, I got three hits at the same conference. I felt like I had whiplash.
