Australian publisher, author and reviewer Lutz Barz has kindly sent me an advance review of
'Pestilence' which he has recently undertaken and which will soon be published by Literature-Review.com and in other journals he writes for. '
Pestilence' will be published in the near future by 4RV Publishing and this review is, to say the least, absolutely awesome and gives me great optimism for the book's future success. For more…

Hi everyone. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We don’t celebrate it in the UK, unfortunately , although I think we should – nearly everyone has something to be thankful for, after all.
My futuristic romantic novel STARQUEST had a lovely review by The Long and the Short of It this week and received a rating of Four and a half Books. LASR has a Best Book review poll at the end of each week to vote for the best read based on their…

Boy, did my agent work fast? After the shattering disappointment of the recent problems and eventual contract release from Steel Waves Publishing, I'm delighted to announce that my literary agent has, within two days, negotiated a brilliant contract offer from 4RV Publishing who have offered to publish all five of the novels currently in need of a good home. Consequently, 'Glastonbury', 'Pestilence', 'The Nemesis Cell', 'Purple Death' and…

I'm sad to announce that the five books which were due to be published this year by Steel Waves Publishing will not be appearing as planned. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Steel Waves have been unable to produce the books as per their schedule and have agreed to release me from my contract with them. This of course is an honorable thing to do but of course I must now begin the task of attempting to find other ways of getting the books before the public.
I thank everyone at Steel…

by a story so intense, so poignant, it won't leave you. I have one that has eaten at me for the longest. I tear up just thinking about putting the first sentence on the paper. Why? Because I know how it will end and for that reason I want to cry my eyes out. The emotions which swirl inside just watching the tender yet powerful and passionate scenes coursing through my mind makes me want to sit and start on it, then I stop and wonder if I have the emotional strength to carry it off.
I…

Ever curious about having a booktrailer professionally done? Well I had one designed for my upcoming YA novel, Freaksville. My designer used royalty free images and music and created an amazing movie-like representation of my novel.
She's a rare talent .....she's still in High School! I thought I'd interview while she still had time. So drop by the Wolfy Chicks blog

“Why do writers write? Because it isn't there.” ~~Thomas Berger
Thanksgiving, for those of us in America, has grown and evolved like most holidays. Pilgrims, turkey (or Tofurki), football, parades, and pumpkin pie. Yet tucked within the basting and the touchdowns is the root of an idea. Thankfulness. For family and friends, for prosperity and health, and for life itself. And let me add one more item to the list… Thankfulness for creativity. I love being a writer. Don’t…

I'm bursting to tell someone the good news, and why shouldn't it be you, my fellow romantics? The local public library where I'm spending the winter on the Gulf Coast of Alabama requested 5 copies each of LOVE OF MY HEART and A SIGH OF LOVE to give to their book club as a Christmas present! (I'd say the name of the library, but I'd better wait until they give their gifts out at the beginning of December.) Isn't that the greatest news? Well, it is for me, anyway. They were going to order them…

I'd like to invite everyone along to You tube to view the latest short video trailer introducing the 'stars' of my forthcoming children's book series 'Harry Porter's Dog Tales' , coming in 2009 from 4RV Publishing. Written under the guise of my alter ego Harry Porter, the series tells the individual stories of the beautiful rescued dogs who live with and share my home, and will hopefully help to raise awareness of the plight of abused and abandoned…
