I have returned

  Dear Friends,

It's been a while since I've posted, but Intend to rectify starting today.

I can honestly say that with out exaggeration  I was feeling a bit overwhelmed' I signing up for every writers website, I saw like I was on a shopping spree. So.. after a long talk with myself I came back WDRF. Which I call home I have no  intention of staying away again. Frankly, its lonely out there all by yourself.

THE HEALING BOOK GROUP

I’m reckoning that some, even most members here, will be keeping their distance when they observe me proposing a group that could possibly reek of dogma or creed or both lol. I’m on many Ning networks and one of the groups that is common in all, created by me, is The Healing Book…

Greetings from Australia

Hi everyone,

Haven't posted in a long while, been sidetracked by work, family and life in general.

We are certainly living in traumatic times, the devastating floods here in Australia, Earthquake in Christchurch NZ and now the catastrophe in Japan. I don't know whether it is the Gods or mother nature who's angry with us.

Regards

Margaret

Procrastination - the mightiest foe of a writer?

There are many things that writers/authors have to contend with when they begin their journey to publication and ultimately to their top goals. Some are internal and other external, all however, can be controlled to a certain extent.

Writer's Block: That wonderful little spot where you're sitting staring at the blinking cursor without a single thought to write down. You try and try, get up and go for a walk, a coffee, a hot, steamy bubble bath with candles and chocolate...you…

"Help! I'm Drowning!"

“Saturday Morning Confusion” by Bobby Russell somehow describes my life, at least how it seems at present. But wait! It isn’t Saturday! I don’t have “little people” running around my apartment screaming for their breakfast or watching morning cartoons on TV! Nor do I have a dog named Harry who just had a litter of puppies! No, there is just myself and Ben of course. He is my ever-faithful (sometimes)-feline pal of six years; but yes, he sometimes does holler loudly for his “breakfast” before… Continue

A MAN AND HIS HORSE

The above title is the heading to one of the chapters in "The Meadow" novel. There has been quite a few articles and blogs written about this story but none, so far, appear to have concentrated on the animal which accompanies our two protagonists throughout the centuries as they return to the earth plane to…

REINCARNATION

You either love or hate the subject concerning reincarnation. To others it's a taboo topic which should never be approached or suffer the consequences. The conventional idea behind reincarnation is that after dying we return to the Earth plane to live another life. However, when up-to-date theories are…

HOLD ON TO YOUR COMICS AND MAGS -- The future's only round the corner

I’m pretty sure there are many like me who have a predisposition to hoard. The Aladdin’s Cave of any home is the attic or loft where all the unwanted stuff gets piled away and is forgotten — out of sight, out of mind. My attic is the home to many of my kids’ (now grown up) old toys and comics, lovingly preserved and…

THE COLOUR OF MUSIC

"The Colour of Music" is a rather bizarre combination of words used as the title to an article which attempts to help us understand the workings of the Universe from our perspective as human beings. We consider 'hearing' and 'sight' as two of the five natural senses which, combined with the other three, feed…
