I totally agree with the review! AWSOME BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After reading it's all in the jeans, I found I Loved the cowboy way as much or more. I am without a doubt an avid fan who will be pouncing on anything new that you put out :)

Can't say I can answer all your questions but here goes. As for give-aways - I always try to get my contest gifts to in someway fit the book I'm running the contest for.
Judging sucess is a really personal measure. Some - its just getting published, or winning an award. Me having reader who really enjoy my writing is very fulfilling of course a good royalties check helps but isn't the measure of sucess.
Don't be discouraged by a rejection - they are helpful to improve what you are and have written - we all get them at one time or the other even after we've been published a number of times. What press is TWRP?
Just keep at it - proof read but do so at least once after you let the work sit for a day or two, it allows your eyes to (brain) look at the piece in a different "light"
