Two of my favorite characters are Stephanie Plum from Janet Evanovich's series and Lindsay Boxer from James Patterson's Women's Murder Club series. Both women are tough, strong and they don't take anything from anyone. I wish I were more like that...

I want to truly care about the characters and wonder how they are even after the book is over.

I'm reading Everything Sucks by Hannah Friedman. It's a review book, which is why I'm reading it. The author sent it to me and it's really good. It's not the usual genre that I read, but still it's quite interesting.

I have many favorite authors - Debbie Macomber is one of my favorites. I love her Cedar Cove series. Also, Janet Evanovich, James Patterson and Sophie Kinsella. They all write books that I practically devour. Although, I must admit, I'm a bit behi...

Yes, I do book reviews. My main guideline is that the books be in the genres I enjoy reading - Romance, Suspense, Mystery, and sometimes paranormal. I just need a description of the book to see if it's something I'll enjoy. I don't review ebooks a...

For me, it would be if I don't like a book. I don't like to write negative reviews, but I don't want to say I loved a book when I don't. I've become very selective in the books I review, and as a result, I've been only getting books I enjoy. I gue...

Welcome Yvonne,

You'll certainly find a variety of genres and their authors here at WRDF, along with lots of people who don't care to write, but love to read.

So, make yourself at home. And when you get a free moment, hopefully before you upload too much content, please read the information entitled, NEW MEMBERS PLEASE READ, for important content guidelines. You'll find it listed under the Member's Tab. Just a little necessary business to get out of the way, then I encourage you to explore and enjoy the site.

Also, check out our official blog and review site, Between the Lines, and our book club, LOST IN A GOOD BOOK. LOST has just completed its August book discussions and is currently hosting the GRAB A READER CONTEST. These two sites can be accessed through their quick-link banner on our Main Page.

Don't forget to sign up for WRDF'S Online Newsletter. You'll find the sign-up box on the Main Page. And be sure to check out our NEW READER'S CLUB.

For all you blog lovers, we've just started a new group called, BOOK BLOGGING CENTRAL. Book blogs are wonderfully entertaining and informative. Authors need reviewers and book bloggers need books. What a perfect opportunity for both. This is a new group with huge potential. Stop over and start getting acquainted with our Book Blogging members.

Thank you for joining us here at WRDF. It's a pleasure to meet you and we all hope that you enjoy the site.

And one more thing, any writer who loves to write and doesn't let any obstacle take away that joy, is already a SUCCESSFUL WRITER.

Thanks,
Lynda
