I Remember Tomorrow

I suppose one reason I'm so terrible at promoting my work is I have a bit of trouble with the concept of "tooting" my own horn. In the back of my mind it sounds just a bit too much like bragging... something I was raised to believe is very near to an unpardonable sin. In spite of that, I'm placing a trailer for my book, "I Remember Tomorrow".I hope you find it, at least, entertaining and at best that it might pique your interest.A Brief SynopsisBe well, WilliamSee More

Are you a writer, reader, or other industry professional
Writer and reader
If a writer, are you published, pre-pubbed, or self-published?
Published Author --the novel "I Remember Tomorrow" and "A Cold Morning" short story included in the anthology "Forever Friends". Both available at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and other sources.
As a writer, what type of stories do you Write or Read?
I read, pretty much, anything except mystery. I write sci-fi, paranormal, and mainstream fiction. All with, at least, a hint of romance. After all, what's the purpose of life without romance.
As a reader, what is your favorite genre, writer?
I can't say I have a favorite genre since I find any story that is well told, holds my interest, and has characters for whom I can find concern to be well worth the read.
If you're an industry professional, tell us a little about your area of interest.
When it comes to writing, science-fiction, fantasy, and paranormal stories are my favorites because you can do so much with the subject matter.
How did you come to know about WRDF?
Can't recall since it was quite a while ago.
What is your first impression of our site?
Insightful and interesting.
Do you have a website you'd like to post?

A Heroine With A Twist

Nightrun Trailer: The Elder Helen

Nightrun Trailer: The Other Helen

These are two of the "Women of Nightrun" trailers for my upcoming Nightrun series. The elder Helen may actually be my favorite character in the series. She's bright and funny but can turn dark and dangerous in the blink of an eye. The other Helen, called "Two", while possesing many of the same traits as her name sake, tends to be angrier and more driven. Seperately, they are formidable. However, when they finally combine their talents... things heat up.
Be well,
William

A Short Story: "A Cold Morning"

Posted on September 17, 2008 at 12:30pm 1 Comment

This is a short story taken from the reality of the book series I am currently writing (the first draft of book one is completed). While the setting and circumstance place it in the science fiction genre, the purpose is to simply tell a story of two people and their connection.

Comments and criticism are welcome.

Be well,

William

Thanks for the comments you made on my page, William. I'm glad you like the idea of The Meadow. I'm sure you meant to say '. . . span vast periods of time . . ." rather than 'spam vast periods of time' lol. You can accuse me of many things but spamming, I hope, will never be one of them.

Many thanks for the link up, William. I’m looking at ways where we can help each other promote our material and ourselves. I suppose it begins with good communication. Did you have anything in mind in addition to this? I'm not that experienced in writing but I have a wealth of knowledge about people. This is the cover to my co-written book. You’d be welcome to post yours in my comments box. All you have to do is ask :-)
