One solution might be to set your story in another time and place. The character types may be the same, but there's less chance crotchety old Uncle Mortimer will recognize himself if he's a knight's lackey. Personally, I've never modeled any of m...

One of the advantages of working with fiction is that you have no obligation to speak nothing but the truth. In fact, when you decide to write "fact-based-fiction", you're using the real-life instances as a framework and catalyst rather than an ou...

Thanks for commenting on my page. I've always envied anyone who can write poetry. I'd love to but any time I try it stinks.

Thanks. I'll look around. I have a title for my book, but it is more of a biography. Everybody always said I should write my life story because of all that I've been through and yet maintain a positive attitude. I can't tell you all the places that is written, but it is there and others who hear my testimony say the same thing. I guess it's just a matter of sitting down, writing, and putting it together afterwards.

"Life is the art of drawing without an eraser."
~ John W. Gardner ~

Life is full of many things: trials, successes, victories, failures, errors, sadness, weakness, happiness, strength and so on. To be truthful, the list could go on as far as each person's imagination. But what do all these things add up to? What do they mean?

Life is a line in time that is never taken away. it is like an artist who draws a portrait without picking his pencil up from the paper until the portrait is drawn. One… Continue
