I write down snippets on napkins, scrap paper, whatever I have on hand. For those pesky muses who talk a little and then hush up, I have a big fat virtual work in process folder. I imagine one day I will get in there and finish all those ideas, bu...

Thank you so much! What you said made so much sense and it really did open my eyes to see how I could write so the people I was worried of hurting could be used and yet made to look totally different. I NEVER thought of using that approach. You ar...

One of the advantages of working with fiction is that you have no obligation to speak nothing but the truth. In fact, when you decide to write "fact-based-fiction", you're using the real-life instances as a framework and catalyst rather than an ou...

What a most ineteresting picture! I laughed at it, thought it kind of gross and very, very strange. Would be good used in a parody of a sci-fi movie! lol Sheri

I'm sure every writer has ideas come up at the most inappropriate times or the most awqward moments. For me, it's as soon as my head hits my pillow to sleep. So, over the years, I've kept a microcassette recorder by my pillow and when the ideas co...

Thanks for commenting on my page. I've always envied anyone who can write poetry. I'd love to but any time I try it stinks.

Thanks. I'll look around. I have a title for my book, but it is more of a biography. Everybody always said I should write my life story because of all that I've been through and yet maintain a positive attitude. I can't tell you all the places that is written, but it is there and others who hear my testimony say the same thing. I guess it's just a matter of sitting down, writing, and putting it together afterwards.

"Life is the art of drawing without an eraser."
~ John W. Gardner ~

Life is full of many things: trials, successes, victories, failures, errors, sadness, weakness, happiness, strength and so on. To be truthful, the list could go on as far as each person's imagination. But what do all these things add up to? What do they mean?

Life is a line in time that is never taken away. it is like an artist who draws a portrait without picking his pencil up from the paper until the portrait is drawn. One… Continue

I heard it once said to not kill or waste time because once that t… Continue
