Profile Information
Are you a writer, reader, or other industry professional
I'm a writer and a reader
If a writer, are you published, pre-pubbed, or self-published?
Except for several short stories, I'm prepubbed. I have one book under contract with Desert Breeze Publishing and a novella under consideration with another small press.
As a writer, what type of stories do you Write or Read?
I read a bit of everything. I don't like fluff or cheesy, stereotypical characters. I want to be moved.
As for writing, I'm all about the characters. I like small town nostalgia too. One of my manny's that's currently under consideration is set in a coastal Texas town, 1947. The other is set in Northern Arkansas during The Great Depression.
As a reader, what is your favorite genre, writer?
Hard to say. My favorite writer is Francine Rivers. And while she's classified as a Romance writer, her stories--to me--are more about life issues and relationships, romance included. The foundation of her stories is always in the characters. Everything else springs from that. I love that!
I'm super, super delighted--what a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend! Angel of Windword got a 5 Bookmark review from Mind Fog Reviews:
