Hello everyone!

Just popping in to catch up, and give you my latest new. Finished two short 'true' spooky stories, and have past the two hundred page mark in the novel. Arrival of the Prophecy, will be completed by the end of this month...WooHoo!!! I was really worried, but unless something happens in the next few days, all will be fine. I added one of the short stories to my myspace, because I was having a hard time with copy and paste...No clue as to why??? Those of you on my friends list there can read itContinue

Profile Information

Are you a writer, reader, or other industry professional
I am a writer in several different genres, as well as a reader.
If a writer, are you published, pre-pubbed, or self-published?
I am a recently published author. I am published with a company, but have since self-published two of my own books, working on getting two more on the list.
As a writer, what type of stories do you Write or Read?
I am know on my website as a mutli-genre author, but I like to think of myself as one who truly enjoys writing horror base works, be it short stories or full length novels. I write a great deal in the world of the paranormal, from romance to twisted intrigue, sweeping with vampires, werewolves, and all the creepy things that go bump in the night. And as for reading, you name it...I love to read and can pick up just about genre and dive in!
As a reader, what is your favorite genre, writer?
Paranormal anything for the most part. I'm reading Karen E. Tayler's, Resurrection, at the same time, starting, Linda Conrad's, Safe by His Side. I guess you could say that I like them all.
How did you come to know about WRDF?
I found you on another blog site.
What is your first impression of our site?
I absolutely love what I've seen so far. I look forward to learning a great deal more!
Do you have a website you'd like to post?

Hey Robin -
Another paranormal fan. A few months ago I was urged by some friends to write a short story vampire tale. I'd never even considered it before. So I took the challenge and ended up with a doosie. (Really, what the heck is a "doosie", anyway?) It's a rock-n-roll vampire tale with a time travel twist called "A Bite Out of Time".

If you'd like, you can download it for free (it's a pdf file) here:

http://tinyurl.com/ahfkmo

If you read it, let me know what you think. :-)

By the way, do you have a cover yet for your vampire novel? If not, perhaps you would consider me as your cover artist. You can see samples of my work here on my profile page (http://romancewriterandreader.ning.com/profile/GaryValTenuta) and more at www.bookcoversandvideos.webs.com.

As I mentioned in my blog, I'm offering $50 off the regular prices for my book cover design work for a limited time (through March 19, 2009).
