Chapter Writers Retreat.
Our RWA chapter, Saguaro Romance Writers had its retreat this past weekend in Bisbee, Arizona. Fourteen of us went altogether.
The retreat had a two-fold purpose. For some it is a quiet place to write, away from distractions. For others, it was a place to brainstorm their work with others.
The hotel is called The Gym Club Inn and Suites. It was the YMCA, then an apartment building. It is the perfect place for this, because some of the suites are huge, you can easily live there for an extended pe… Continue

No Young Man, A Romance Writers Conference is NOT The Place to Pick Up Women.

Had an Essay Accepted.
I needed a writing victory and got one. It is on a blog called 1st Turning Point and will appear August 31st. It is called Public Speaking for Shy Writers, based on a workshop I have done for my chapter. I may make a book of it and am trying to build a workshop of this. Any suggestions would be welcome.
