Are you a writer, reader, or other industry professional
Author
If a writer, are you published, pre-pubbed, or self-published?
Published
As a writer, what type of stories do you Write or Read?
My tastes as a reader are varied: Mystery, suspense, action-adventure... as long as the stories have a thread of romance in them.
As a writer, I lean toward stories that make readers laugh, and cry, and leave them filled with hope and faith. It's because of letters from readers I became known as the writer who's Touching Hearts and Changing Lives.
As a reader, what is your favorite genre, writer?
Sorry...don't have a favorite!
If you're an industry professional, tell us a little about your area of interest.
My 75th published book (Love Finds You in North Pole, Alaska) just hit the shelves. My interests, understandably, are connected largely to the creation of novels. But with the market shrinking and the reader pool growing, PR is becoming more important. So, much as I dislike self-promotion, that takes up more of my time these days than ever before.
How did you come to know about WRDF?
Y'know, I don't remember! Surely it was recommended by an author friend....
During 2010 I will be hosting a reading challenge designed to broaden our literary horizons, move us out of our comfort zone, and help us discover new and uncharted worlds of fun and adventure.

Join me, and let’s make 2010 the year we help ourselves and others to celebrate the World of Books.
Challenge Guidelines: This challenge isn’t designed to be easy, so the weak-at-heart may want to exit by the side door. For those of you who are still here, let’s get started.
Hi Loree, welcome to the group. We're a friendly bunch and there's always something going on here. You won't be bored! Make yourself to home and ask if you have any questions.
Hi Loree. We seem to be running into each other all over the "net." Welcome to WRDF. This is a great group with so much to offer both readers and writers, that I know you'll enjoy getting involved.
You'll certainly find a variety of genres and their authors here at WRDF, along with lots of people who don't care to write, but love to read.
So, make yourself at home. And when you get a free moment, hopefully before you upload too much content, please read the information entitled, NEW MEMBERS PLEASE READ, for important content guidelines. You'll find it listed under the Member's Tab. Just a little necessary business to get out of the way, then I encourage you to explore and enjoy the site.
Also, check out our official blog and review site, Between the Lines, and our book discussion blog, LOST IN A GOOD BOOK. These two sites can be accessed through their quick-link banner on our Main Page.
For all you blog lovers, we've got some new book blogging groups. Book blogs are wonderfully entertaining and informative. Stop over and start getting acquainted with our Book Blogging members.
Just for fun, we have two more new groups: YOU CAN'T COOK and SO YOU THINK YOU HAVE TALENT. Share a recipe or post a photo of your favorite hobbies, etc.
