Profile Information

Are you a writer, reader, or other industry professional
I'm a writer of romantic adventure. I especially like working with medieval characters who live in the past, who have time traveled to the present, or who live in a medieval fantasy world.
If a writer, are you published, pre-pubbed, or self-published?
I'm currently published with Wings ePress. A medieval historical, Draegon's Lair, and a contemporary time travel, KnightStalker.
As a writer, what type of stories do you Write or Read?
I like to read and write stories that are deep into the characters. I really love writing medieval characters, hence Draegon's Lair and KnightStalker. KnightStalker is a contemporary, but the 'traveler' is a knight from the 14th Century. I'm currently getting a Historical Time Travel ready for submission and doing a final revision on a Faerie Fantasy to ready it for submission.
As a reader, what is your favorite genre, writer?
I read in the same genres as I write: medieval historical, time travel, and fantasy. I also read mainstream nonfiction. I used to only read romance, but there's a lot to be learned from other genres so I like to mix it up.
How did you come to know about WRDF?
I googled William H. Russeth (a member) to get his website address and this site came up in the search. It looked interesting.
What is your first impression of our site?
I think it's a great way to meet other authors and industry people. And also to connect with readers.
Do you have a website you'd like to post?

KnightStalker - New Review from Conger Book Reviews

Genre: Contemporary Romance
Review Company: Conger Book Reviews
Review Rate: 5
Reviewer: JoEllen Conger

Quote:
KNIGHT STALKER by multi-published author Linda Ciletti is an exceptional tale of good vs. evil, when a chivalrous medieval knight suddenly appears into present times to do battle for a solo mother and her small son. How could she not fall in love with him?

Review:
Walking home late at night Rachael is attacked by two men as she passes the unlighted park near her home. All she can thin… Continue

Draegon's Lair - New Review from Between the Lines

Review from BETWEEN THE LINES
http://blog.lyndacoker.net/search.aspx?q=Draegon&sc=t&dt=3m&al=none

A truly memorable tale, DRAEGON'S LAIR has a plot made of many intertwined secrets . . . all wonderfully resolved in the end. The classic storytelling style with its perfect resolution makes for a fairy-tale ending for Alys for whom the adventure starts brutally when she flees Bastion and gains an unlikely champion in the reclusive Draegon.

Despite repeated references to his horrid dis… Continue

KnightStalker - New review from Between the Lines

I'm happy to post a couple of new reviews for KnightStalker.

From Between the Lines. Rated "Fantastic - Stays on Shelf"
http://blog.lyndacoker.net/2009/07/01/wrdf-review-of-knightstalker-by-linda-ciletti.aspx

This gripping tale from Linda Ciletti took my breath away and will take yours too. Michel, the French speaking chivalrous knight is a dreamboat of a hero and little Timmy a seer in the making is a delight too.

The life of single-mum Rachael Cicconi is turned upside down when she is rescu… Continue

Hi Linda

Yes. five years was a long time to save up, I'd just left school and wasn't earning very much, but she was worth every penny and it felt like a real achievement - a bit like finishing a book really! I love appies althogh I've never owned one - I have a paint and a black and I think they're beautiful though.

Dragon' s laire sounds wonderful!

Hi Linda,

I'm late at answering. Just finished my second memoir Someone Stop This Merry-Go-Round; An Alcoholic Family in Crisis. Now, it's on to completing the sequel Please, God, Not Two; This Killer Called Alcoholism.
Best of luck with your books and on your award.

If you write Christian historicals set in 1800s, there's a Yahoo marketing group for you http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CROWNfictionmarketing/ Unfortunately, I don't write that period. The idea of such a group is a good one.
