Hi Richard. Another SF lover here (and Isaac Asimov is one of my favourties too)

Welcome aboard, we're delighted to see you here. I hope you’ll enjoy being a member – there’s lots going on and everyone’s very friendly.

Feel free to browse and wander around everyone’s pages – and don’t be afraid to ask questions. We’re happy to help if we can.

Lyn

Reviews for Starquest: "The lovely, lovely descriptions never slow the action, but manage still to convey emotion and carry the narration forward. This is an incredibly original tale, and for all the science fiction trappings is truly a classic quest for love...” 'Snapdragon 'LONG AND SHORT REVIEWS  "If you are looking for action, danger, romance, and love the science fiction then look no further than Hywela Lyn's futuristic romance, Starquest!";Denisse, THE PEN AND MUSE  ~

Welcome J Richard,

Make yourself at home. And when you get a free moment, hopefully before you upload too much content, please read the information entitled, NEW MEMBERS PLEASE READ, for important content guidelines. You'll find it listed under the Member's Tab. Just a little necessary business to get out of the way, then I encourage you to explore and enjoy the site.

Also, check out our official blog and review site, Between the Lines and our book club, LOST..In A Good Book. A new book discussion is scheduled to kick-off June 21st. If you'd like to have one of your books considered in one of our discussions, just follow the information found under Blog Information on the blog site. These two sites can be accessed through their quick-link banner on our Main Page.

Don't forget to sign up for WRDF'S Online Newsletter. You'll find the sign-up box on the Main Page.

Thank you for joining us here at WRDF. It's a pleasure to meet you and we all hope that you enjoy the site.

Thanks,
Lynda

Profile Information

Are you a writer, reader, or other industry professional
I am a writer of weird fiction in Science Fiction novels (hard and soft) plus a lot of cross genre material. I also write Science Fact articles and essays. I write short stories in Fantasy (contemporary/urban), Science Fiction (hard and soft), Paranormal humor, Horror of the humorous sort, Mystery, and other strange stuff.

As a writer one can't help but be an avid reader, right? I am also an editor so I have ample opportunity to read some good stuff and a lot of gawdawful junk.
If a writer, are you published, pre-pubbed, or self-published?
Multi-published and working on more.
As a writer, what type of stories do you Write or Read?
As stated above. Chewing my cabbage twice is distasteful.
As a reader, what is your favorite genre, writer?
There are several (some even mainstream...!), but hands down it has to be Isaac Asimov.
How did you come to know about WRDF?
Surfing....
What is your first impression of our site?
Good.
Do you have a website you'd like to post?
