Profile Information

Are you a writer, reader, or other industry professional
I am a writer, a reader, an editor, and a reviewer!
If a writer, are you published, pre-pubbed, or self-published?
I am published. Many anthologies, newspaper articles, magazine articles, some self publishing, and my first full solo project A Poet's Journal is currently published by PublishAmercia, and is due to be released May 16, 2009
As a writer, what type of stories do you Write or Read?
I write poetry, romance, non-fiction, and horror.
As a reader, what is your favorite genre, writer?
If it's a good book, I'll read it. Right now its Vampires, and some times its Irish History, and historical romance, lots of horror, and lots of romance!
If you're an industry professional, tell us a little about your area of interest.
Well, I have been looking for ages to find reviewers that will do reviews for P.O.D books, and can't find any that are affordable, so, I have decided to start my own! I have worked as a newspaper editor for my town's newspaper for a few years, and have even done editing for a few magazines, and small anthology books.
How did you come to know about WRDF?
I found WRDF through another website that I was looking at. The Bookhouse.
What is your first impression of our site?
I really haven't had a chance yet to venture around the site, but I'm sure I'm going to enjoy it, as I LOVE books!
Do you have a website you'd like to post?

I have heard so many negative things about them.

I was just wondering if I could get some opinions.

My questions are;
1) if you are self published, does this mean you will not get credit for being published when trying to submit to other publishers or agents?
2) PublishAmerica claims to be a traditional publishing company, thought they print on demand. Does this mean that I will not get credit for this publication?

Any one who knows these an… Continue
