Profile Information

Are you a writer, reader, or other industry professional
I write and also help others any way I can with their writing endeavors.
If a writer, are you published, pre-pubbed, or self-published?
I've had one short story published in literary magazine. I've also self published one short Horror story and one Crime Fiction novella. I'm currently doing a rewrite for a full length Paranormal Fiction novel for a traditional publishing source.
As a writer, what type of stories do you Write or Read?
I've read and enjoyed books by Anne Rice, Stephan King, Michael Crichton, David Eddings, Tracy Hickman and others. You might say my taste in books covers a range of genre's.
As a reader, what is your favorite genre, writer?
I like things of a paranormal flovor. Vampires, werewolves and angry spirits tend to grace the pages of the stories I write. Those who know my work have occasional encountered psychotic killers dressed like clowns but most of my stories tend to hold some redemptive quality thing allows the reader to sympathize with the unusual characters (Except in the case of the psychotic clown. He's just a bad person.).
If you're an industry professional, tell us a little about your area of interest.
On a professional level my interests go out to the promiossing, unheralded writers in the world. I'm currently building a magazine designed to promote the voices of those who deserve to be heard.
How did you come to know about WRDF?
I am friends with Ernest Johnson and Brian Porter.
What is your first impression of our site?
I've not had the time to explore all the features of the site but can get back to you on that.
Do you have a website you'd like to post?

I'm in the throes of helping to breathe a bit of extra life into WRDF. Can we be friends? If so, please add me.

Welcome David,

I'm glad to see you made it here to the Hub of our Community. Make yourself at home. And when you get a free moment, hopefully before you upload too much content, please read the information entitled, NEW MEMBERS PLEASE READ, for important content guidelines. You'll find it listed under the Member's Tab. Just a little necessary business to get out of the way, then I encourage you to explore and enjoy the site.

Also, check out our official blog and review site, Between the Lines and our new book club, LOST..In A Good Book. All of these sites can be reached through their quick-link banner on our Main Page or on the right-hand column of your own page.

Thanks,
Lynda
