Profile Information

Are you a writer, reader, or other industry professional
I'm a newly published author with Eternal Press
If a writer, are you published, pre-pubbed, or self-published?
My first publication, Day 94, comes out on December 7, 2009 through Eternal Press. I'm very excited about this opportunity!
As a writer, what type of stories do you Write or Read?
I love to read all genres, but specifically horror and thriller stories. My lifestyle keeps me very busy, not allowing for much reading anymore. I barely find the time to write. My writing tends to be dark and shadowed.
As a reader, what is your favorite genre, writer?
My biggest influences as a reader are Stephen King and Edgar Allan Poe.
How did you come to know about WRDF?
It was suggested by Maggie Dove through the Author's Group that Eternal Press provides.
What is your first impression of our site?
Very nice, pleasing to the eye - not too overbearing. As an author I love to see the featured information about specific authors (Right now Maggie Dove), and the promotion that you're providing for the books.
Do you have a website you'd like to post?

Welcome D.M.,

You'll certainly find a variety of genres and their authors here at WRDF, along with lots of people who don't care to write, but love to read.

So, make yourself at home. And when you get a free moment, hopefully before you upload too much content, please read the information entitled, NEW MEMBERS PLEASE READ, for important content guidelines. You'll find it listed under the Member's Tab. Just a little necessary business to get out of the way, then I encourage you to explore and enjoy the site.

Also, check out our official blog and review site, Between the Lines, and our book discussion blog, LOST IN A GOOD BOOK, which will begin a new round of book discussion October 20th. The featured book information is now posted. So make your book selection and join us for the October discussions. These two sites can be accessed through their quick-link banner on our Main Page.

For all you blog lovers, we've got some new book blogging groups. Book blogs are wonderfully entertaining and informative. Stop over and start getting acquainted with our Book Blogging members.

Just for fun, we have two more new groups: YOU CAN'T COOK and SO YOU THINK YOU HAVE TALENT. Share a recipe or post a photo of your favorite hobbies, etc.

All members are welcome to post their coming events on the WRDF Calendar. Just click on the Calendar Tab.

Advertising with WRDF is easy. You'll find all the detail on the Advertising page which is a sub-menu of the Main/Map Tab.

Thank you for joining us here at WRDF. It's a pleasure to meet you and we all hope that you enjoy the site.

Thanks,
Lynda
