trying to get back....

Hi everyone,

I took some time off to think about a lot of things. Being a newbie writer is a lot harder than I thought. The writing is easy and I have a fantastic time bringing my characters to life.....sometimes they demand it! Lolol.....but it's hard to know where to go after, who to believe, trust etc. I am constantly amazed by all the talent out there so much so that it had me stepping back, wondering if this is what I want to do.......I didn't read during this time, then, on the weekend, I… Continue

I need some advice! LOL

I need some advice.......I'm thinking of self publishing my first book. I have many reasons but the big one is that I want to get my book up and going. I've heard both good and bad things about self publishing, I've had people tell me that I should contact at least one hundred agents/publishers before self publishing. A few have tried to get me to buy this and that book that they claim will for sure get me through the door. The only thing I'M sure of is that I'll be out a few dollars! LOL......s… Continue

Now it's back to work. I've dusted off my manuscript and I have been getting back on track. Of course with Ireland still fresh in my mind, I tend to daydream abo… Continue

Support........

So I threw caution to the wind today and sent some stuff to an agent. For a solid week I barely slept due to writing and re-writing the perfect synopsis and editing the first two chapters of my book. I requested friends and family to weigh in with their thoughts and the response was great. But it got me thinking.....if I'm going to make a go of this whole book writing thing, I have to find support from people who know what it's like to pull all nighters, or have their characters talk to them ALL… Continue
