During the month of June, Mr. M. Stefan Strozier, Editor, gave me the honor of featuring two of my poems, (Child of Haiti and Africa) in the World Audience Literary Journal. (Vol. 3, #1, June 2008 - ISSN:: 1936-1785)
This is my first literary credit and I am grateful to have been given such opportunity. He is the first editor to open a door to the literary universe.

I have sharpened my pencils. Thirty-four to be exact. Thirty-three are still in the cup because I am holding one of them. I am sitting on my patio staring at the navy blue glass bathroom cup I purchased at a garage sale for ten cents, last summer. There is a handmade Avery address label on it, which says, “MOM’S PENCILS!” written with a thick black marker and a gigantic exclamation mark.
