Journey to Redemption (Sept 09)

When the bodies of two unidentified young woman are washed up on the beach, within hours of one another, Detectives Morgan Reynolds and John Russo are teamed with their new boss, Lieutenant Chase McAdams, to investigate the gruesome discoveries. Similarities in both cases have a striking resemblance to a case the detectives had worked a year ago.

Charles Tate, alias The Slasher, had ended life as Morgan knew it for both her and her young son. For almost a year she and her partner had chased after the man who left behind a trail of corpses identical to the ones that’d just been discovered. It wasn’t until he’d killed Morgan’s husband that they’d managed to arrest him. Morgan thought his apprehension was the end of her nightmare, but it was only the beginning.

Escaping during a prison transfer, Tate is making up for lost time, and this go around he’s making it even more personal. He’s kidnapped Morgan’s son, Jared. Claiming the evidence that got him convicted was planted, he’s giving Morgan 72 hours to find the person that killed her husband or he will kill her son.

Pre-release review of Journey to Redemption (coming Sept 15th)

Detective Morgan Reynolds thought her nightmare was over when serial killer Charles ‘The Slasher’ Tate was sent to prison for her husbands murder. But she was wrong. The Slasher has escaped and he’s making it even more personal this time. Tate has kidnapped her son and is giving her 72 hours to find the answers he wants or Jared dies.

From the first sentence in the first chapter I was captivated by this book and couldn’t stop reading till I was finished. Ms. Patrick has written a spine tingling… Continue

Excerpt from Journey to Redemption (available now!)

Chapter One

Flashing blue and red lights illuminated the night sky as Morgan Reynolds brought the unmarked police cruiser to a screeching halt near the entrance of the harbor. She and her partner John Russo stepped from the car and approached a young patrolman standing guard at a sealed off area near the waterfront. He glanced at their detective badges then lifted the yellow crime scene tape for them to duck underneath.

Floodlights were set up and crime scene investigators searched the area.… Continue

Anne it would be fun if you can only if you wanted to also help in this mission and its open to anyone. I can send you a pattern and send the dolls to me. I have made myself well over 20 dolls, which do take time, between not working or writing I am creating dolls for the ladies mission trips. Plus I am designing seed beaded jewelry which I also love and I take care of my 90 yr old father.
I wish there was a group that can help us out on this mission. I love to see 100 dolls done before christmas so that the ones who are going to Assisi Italy can give half of them to the children who lost their homes due to the hurricane title storm.

You're welcome, Anne. Hey, I just noticed you have a book coming out next year called Out of Darkness. I wrote a book with that title about my recovery from three brain aneurysm surgeries. It's just for my family, though. Too personal to submit. Good luck with your new releases! ~Sandra
