Linda, I visited your blog and read the review. Nicely done! So many books, so little time ... lol. I'm glad I found your site. Reviews help me decide whether I'm going to read a new author or not.

I see that a while back, Stephanie Morris plugged on of her books. Hope it's okay to do the same.

Here is a recent review:
Dianne Sagan wrote a beautiful book about a young girl's tribulations and triumph. The daughter of a shepherd, Rebekah lost both her parents at six-years-old and was sent to her mother's brother. At first he wanted no part of her, but his wife decided they would keep her, not as family, but as a servant slave. In her years of servitude and finally redemption Rebekah meets the kind and comforting family of Mary, Martha and Lazarus. She also meets the man everyone is talking about, the man who is to save their people, the man who she saw bring Lazarus back to life after being dead four days, Jesus.

Through Ms. Sagan's writing, the reader is able to feel Rebekah's suffering and finally her joy and peace. As a slave to one uncle and then another, you go along with Rebekah on her journey to redemption. Set in biblical times, this book is full of vivid imagery and details of the time and area. I highly recommend this book to all.
